Jhirna
The nearest zone to The Golden Tusk is the Jhirna zone. It falls in the southern periphery of the Park with mainly deciduous topography and secondary forest cover with large open grasslands. Vast stream beds and steep cliff edges provide excellent visibility of wild animals.

Dhela
Another zone that is at very close proximity from the Corbett resort, spreading over an area of 1,173 hectares, Dhela has mixed forests of Sal, Rohini, Haldu, Bahera, Kusum vegetation. With Substantial grasslands also in the zone, it offers lovely vistas and great wildlife sighting opportunities.

Largest Tourism zone of Corbett National Park, Dhikala is also the most versatile with flora and fauna. With famous and the largest grasslands of Corbett disappear into a thick sal forest, a panoramic view of the reservoir with grasslands ahead is breathtaking.

Durgadevi
Located at the North-Eastern side of the reserve, Durga Devi Zone is the hill safari zone criss-crossed by Ramganga and Mandal rivers at several places. This zone is particularly famous for sighting wild elephants and Otters at Domunda Bridge.

Bijrani
Bijrani has mixed topography with thick sal forests, three major grasslands and a number of stream beds. Grasslands offer good wildlife sightseeing opportunity. During monsoon, it is closed because of the poor roads in the forest.

Phato Zone
Phato zone is part of the terai west forest Division. The Terai West Forest is south of Jim Corbett National Park and east of Amangarh Tiger Reserve (UP). A true terai forest, like all other tourism zones, is either in Shivaliks or bhabar, this lowland belt is characterised by tall grasslands, scrub savannah, sal forests and clay-rich swamps. Tumeria Dam, Large human-made water reservoir in this zone gives ample opportunity to see winter migratory birds.
